Goose bumps and a shopping cart...

I feel like I haven’t blogged for a LONG time, but it really hasn’t been too incredibly long, yet so much has happened! Newborns, children, engagements, weddings….I am photographing something different every day. That is one thing I absolutely love about my job, the spontaneity. It never gets boring and I get to meet really cool people and watch their family grow! Recently at a wedding I photographed, I was thinking about my job and how lucky I am to share the bride and groom’s experience of becoming a married couple. My favorite moment is right before the bride walks down the aisle. I am standing near the bride and at this point she cannot see the groom but I can. The nervous look on his face, and the nervous look on hers…they both show so much love and excitement at the same time and neither can

see each other, but I can see them both! I love it, and it gives me goose bumps every time, especially the moment when the brides father see’s her for the first time just moments before he escorts her down the aisle to her groom….again, goose bumps…LOVE my job! Oh, and how could I forget, I also had the honor to take breast feeding photos for a dear friend while she visited the States, what an awesome photo shoot that was, love capturing mother-daughter bonds!

Anyway, some new things to keep ya’ll in the loop.  I now have a “shopping cart” on my website. So, what this means is after your photo session, I can upload all of your photos from your session to my site on a separate hidden page that only you can see with your personal url. You can share the url with anyone you like, but one must have the url to see the photos. Also, another cool thing about the shopping cart is you can purchase the photos right from my site, and you also have the option to share the photo on facebook or send it as an e-card. So many cool choices…with that said, thank you Nathan Miller for all your time setting up my website and all its cool features, it is much appreciated.

Lastly, I am still offering the “photo-booth” at weddings (see here for more info), and I am currently booking Fall sessions along with back to school photos.  If you want a session in August through December, book now because August is almost

booked up and I am going into September! I am also preparing for Christmas photos ALREADY by gearing up with some new backdrops for the winter season, but who wants to think about winter?!

With that said, I will leave you with a few photos from recent weddings and children/newborn sessions. Thank you so much to everyone who follows my facebook page and website, you all are so extremely AWESOME! ;)
