Mr & Mrs Buckner {A Wedding Story}

Back in 2008, Kayla became employed with the same company as Chad. They became best friends right away. Kayla said, "the type of friends that call each other with every emergency".  Over the years, they each had relationships, however, the Fall of 2011 they both happened to be single and decided to go on a date < Lion King in 3D! :-).  Since then, they have never been apart.

Kayla says, "My favorite part of our story are the parts I didn't see.... when we first went to Chad's parents house as a couple, they mentioned how happy they were we finally got together and I said 'Yea.. he finally reached the bottom of the barrel!' and his mom said 'Well he's been fishin' in that barrel for you for over 3 years now!' Then I started to think back!! Anytime I needed anything, Chad was there.  If I asked for some medicine for my headache, he'd stop working and bring me a package from the hotel lobby next door, and have it opened for me so I didn't have to.  He told me that he'd been praying for God to open a door for him and he was told to wait until God's opportunity.  And here we are. :)"  <Seriously, how sweet is that!?

Chad asked Kayla to marry her during their family photo appointment with Ashley at Acra Designs Photography.  Little did she know that Chad had a banner made and sent to the photographer's house which she set up before their session where he asked her to marry him. Kayla was so surpised and overflowed with joy!  He had met with a jeweler several times in secret and hand picked the diamonds for Kayla's ring!

Upon meeting with them for the first time, I could clearly see how much love they shared. And soon, they will be welcoming their first child into this world!!! How exciting! :-) Congratulations, Chad and Kayla, I wish the both of you the best and many many years of happiness. Thank you for letting me document your special day!
